The brief

Boyne outdoor sports equipment company enlisted Roswell NYC for complex solutions to their eCommerce needs, including retail site migration and custom integrations. They needed a solution that not only met their immediate requirements, but also provided long-term value and scalability.

The approach

Roswell set up the Boyne Country Sports retain site on the Shopify Hydrogen theme and made several important additions like connecting the site with the client's identity system for Single Sign-On (SSO), integration with their custom loyalty system, added features that let customers earn and use points, integrating gift card functionality and payment choices, ensuring discounts work correctly, and establishing a system to keep track of customer records. These features all tie into their BOPIS (Buy Online Pick-Up In Store) solution, which Roswell developed for the client. This solution handles complex rules for inventory location, product allocation, and pick-up location options between a large number of physical locations.

The results

Roswell succeeded at the goal of creating a seamless integration of the Shopify Hydrogen theme and associated functionalities that aligned with Boyne’s business objectives and operational workflows. Post launch, the brand’s YOY revenue has seen an increase of 134%, with AOV increasing by 17% and conversion rate improving by 34%.
