

Sendero Provisions Co. came to Roswell with only a basic Welcome flow and a Checkout Abandonment flow in Klaviyo, both of which were outdated, misaligned with Sendero’s brand voice, and disjointed from their site experience. These limited automations were not optimized for user experience or performance, resulting in low engagement rates, a high unsubscribe rate, and deteriorating deliverability that threatened Sendero’s ability to reach its customers.



Roswell conducted a complete audit of Sendero’s existing retention marketing program and then overhauled every element of their email and SMS strategy. We introduced granular segmentation to improve deliverability and relevance, redesigned and rebuilt flows to support each stage of the customer journey, and infused every touchpoint with Sendero’s distinctive brand identity. Personalization logic was woven throughout the flows to create dynamic experiences tailored to individual behaviors and preferences. We also implemented systematic A/B testing to refine sending cadence, template design, and content—ensuring that each message was optimized for engagement.
Between November 1 and March 15 year-over-year, Sendero achieved a 21.4 percent increase in overall revenue, driven by a 31.6 percent lift in campaign performance and an 8.6 percent lift in flow performance. On a period-over-period basis, attributable revenue jumped by 139.9 percent, with campaign revenue up 179 percent and flow revenue up 97.1 percent. Deliverability improvements were equally impressive: open rates increased by 15 percent, placed order rates rose by 65.3 percent, bounce rates declined by 33.3 percent, spam complaints fell by 38.5 percent, and unsubscribe rates dropped by 9.6 percent.

With a fully optimized retention marketing engine in place, Roswell will continue to refine Sendero’s program through deeper audience segmentation, predictive product recommendations powered by machine learning, and journey-level orchestration across email, SMS, and on-site messaging. By iterating on creative treatments, testing new message formats, and expanding personalization tactics, Sendero is positioned to sustain strong engagement, maximize lifetime value, and build even stronger relationships with their customers.
